They're finished.
But, but, they have stud defensemen! And young forwards they developed themselves! And, and they're not soff! And, and, and, they have a real coach! HOWWWWW???

Sabres fans are rooting for them to lose in a very loud way:

Holtby allowed 3 goals in just over 5 minutes in the first period. Peters in net now. Hopefully this is a sign that he's wearing down. :)

Even if it is the Rangers, I really enjoy watching the Caps get scored on.

At the Caps/Preds game on Saturday there was a toolbag sitting a few seats away from me. To my left it was a father, his 7 year old son, empty seat, drunk-guys girl, drunk-guy, drunker-guy, drunker-guy's girl. (12:30 start mind you) There were three little kids behind the drunks and the row in front of us was apparently a special-needs outing (not a figure of speech). Drunker guy kept standing and yelling at the players and refs. Literally averaged once a minute or so that he stood up. First period was yelling with just a little vulgarity. The second period got bad as he flew past drunk to sloppy. LOTS of vulgarity. At the beginning of the third he said something (apparently really bad) that I did not hear and the father next to me jumped up and told him to watch his language etc etc etc. The drunk guy (not he drunker one) got the picture and tried to keep his buddy under control for the rest of the period.

But that is not the point of the story... HA!

My sister pointed out that the drunk guy looked like the "Prylocec guy (sp?)... and she was right, he looked like a slightly taller Larry the Cable Guy. He could probably be a double for him. I then took a good look at the drunker guy. Somewhat pudgy, a very well manicured high and tight hair cut, full mustache... He was a spitting image of Farva from Super Troopers. The two of them could have easily done parties as Larry and Farva. I started laughing because not only did the guy look like Farva but he was acting like him too. I was extremely tempted to try to get him to say "shenanigans". If I was there with my brother-in-law as opposed to with my sister there would have been a lot of Super Trooper quotes getting tossed around.

The Canucks-Jets game was pretty darn good. Especially the last 3 minutes.

Figures. Wonder if Ottawa will blow a 2 goal advantage. Oops, I mean a 3 goal advantage.

Are the Caps going to end this period with 3 shots? They have to be throwing the game.

Mounting a comeback? Caps netted one. Now 3-1 Sens.
