I though players on the ducks being healthy scratches was funny.

Boy, I thought scratching Despres against the quick (and familiar) Rangers in exchange for Clayton Stoner was bad...but now taking out Cam Fowler...that's a strange one...he's not playing amazing but he's still not scratchable...maybe some Ducks fans will flatten Stoner's tires before the game and get Fowler to draw in after all...

25 goals for Jarome Iginla, maybe the pens were too quick to make him the fall guy in 2013. Hindsight always perfect...a shame he did not fit in.

Bruins trade Dougie Hamilton to Flames for a 2015 1st and two 2015 2nds. Man, I'd hate to be a Bruins fan, having to give away their team for two seasons now.

Flyers trade:
Niklas Grossmann, mediocre and slow-as-molasses D-man
Chris Pronger, "not retired" but employed as an assistant in the NHL Department of Player Safety
to Arizona Coyotes for:
Sam Gagner
Conditional fourth round draft choice in 2016 or a third round draft choice in 2017.

Flyers complete their cap circumvention (don't care if it's legal; it shouldn't be). Arizona gets help to reach the cap floor (counts because it's not a cap-relief situation). Yay, NHL!!!

But it won't be by the NBC/Comcast league.

Forgot to add that the Flyers retain some salary (~ 500K). It's a complete joke.marek wrote:This trade should be voided. Period.Lt. Dish wrote:Flyers trade:

And now he's inducted into the HOF. Not saying he doesn't deserve it, but the whole situation is just not kosher...

Zac Rinaldo to the Bruins for a 2017 3rd round pick, filling the dbag void left by trading Lucic.

TSN radio in Montreal said Richards had an incident at a border crossing. Pierre McGuire confirmed it without anymore details.ville5 wrote:Espn article is saying it's over an off-ice issue. He apparently enjoys the party favors, much like Stoll did.topshelf wrote:It's even funnier to think that he was everyone's whipping boy six months before he was traded.Lt. Dish wrote:I know. Crazy times in the league. I'm interested to hear what Richards did to warrant "termination" of his contract. IMO, he did nothing and this is L.A.'s attempt to sidestep a cap hit.Lt.
