Haha I am never good at starting conversations out of nowhere with girls. Unless she said "you're a pens fan?" Due to my attire. I'd probably go ramble on with something stupid "so, you go to college here?"

That and my gf wouldn't really like it if I made a pretty female friend out of nowhere

For some reason i was always best when there was a group of girls. Id just cut into a part of a conversation i overheard and break in that way. I guess i like making moves when theyre seemingly in a position of strength. i pretty much forced myself into situations like that as soon as i got to college because i was done being reserved after high school.

Lol i would not say im especially confident. I just feel indifferent towards the likely negative outcome. If youre better at bars, think about the worst thing that happens shen you approach someone there...the worst thing that happens elsewhere is likely to be less extreme and more tactful due to the lack of alcohol.
