This match up would be a heck of a playoff series.

Rangers/Isles? I think '94 was the last time...you might be thinking of Rangers/Devils? They met right around that time...

The Isles & Rangers should let the Pens pass 'em in the standings to ensure they play.
It'd only be fair to the state of NY.

I was thinking of Buffalo vs Islanders in 2007.
Steve Somers trolled the Islanders fans so hard on WFAN, that I substituted the Rangers in my head.![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Or continue to keep their composure and also learn to score on the power play.Skatingpen wrote:Maybe the Pens should be more caring and nice to other teams, so they are not so hated.

Nope.
East has some quality contenders for the Cup this year.

I still value Sam Rosen's voice of God announcing style on purely aesthetic level.

Goal scored on Washington, Ovechkin comes into the play really slowly after the goal is scored, he has no idea what defense is.

Rangers look good, very fast and playing hard. OV with a lucky one, but another one

One fun thing about this season is that there will be no easy series, so figuring out whom to root for in this game seems like a moot issue.

It really is hard to root for any team in the metro, I find myself hating all of them

Rangers found a gem, imo, in Kevin Hayes. I think that kid is something else. The Blackhawks developed him, and the Rangers have reaped the benefits.
I'm rooting for the Caps in this game, which means they'll lose, since they never do what I want them to do.

It's funny how when you take a shot they sometimes go in (especially when you have a good shot). Far more often than when you don't shoot.Skatingpen wrote:Rangers look good, very fast and playing hard. OV with a lucky one, but another one
There's a lesson in there somewhere.

They didn't develop him as far as I know. Wasn't he just one of those guys that expired and became a free agent? I can allow it from him as opposed to someone like Wheeler, because he was seemingly going to a lesser franchise.

You should Rocco them. Post good things about them and go all reverse juju on them.Lt. Dish wrote:Rangers found a gem, imo, in Kevin Hayes. I think that kid is something else. The Blackhawks developed him, and the Rangers have reaped the benefits.

I see. Thank, Idoit. I thought he was drafted by the Hawks and stayed in their system for a few years. I suppose I could look it up! < hold muzak >Idoit40fans wrote:They didn't develop him as far as I know. Wasn't he just one of those guys that expired and became a free agent? Nope, he wasn't in their system, he played for BC. The more you know. (The less I do!)

Whomever comes out of the east is going to be one tired beat up team. When did the east become this stacked?
