Glencross needs to play with a creator and the Caps are fairly light on them.

Like glencross, pretty sure he will do well there. Not a fan of his salary though.

Looks like Keith Yandle is headed to the Rangers for a package around Dan Girardi.

Unreal that the Wiki preview on Google is already updated when you search for "Keith Yandle."TheGhostofGoulet wrote:Looks like Keith Yandle is headed to the Rangers for a package around Dan Girardi.

I hope this is an example of Sather trying to fix what isn't really broken and it backfires on them.TheGhostofGoulet wrote:Looks like Keith Yandle is headed to the Rangers for a package around Dan Girardi.

Updated: Duclair, John Moore and a 1st for Yandle, plus Yotes retain 50% of Yandle's salary.
Supposedly ARZ is picking up 50% of Yandle's salary.

That deal is....... strange, from Arizona's perspective.
New York's defense is so freaking good now.

Not really. Domi, Duclair and McDavid/Eichel is a pretty good core for a rebuild.Avyran wrote:That deal is....... strange, from Arizona's perspective.

Is Duclair supposed to be that good, though? A pretty sure top 6 winger?

Re: 2014-15 Non-Pens Transactions
If the Rangers can figure out how to insulate him from the super stars they play, they will be in good shape with Yandle. Their D is really well set, but they are banking on Rick Nash not playing like playoffs Rick Nash in the playoffs for offense, as I mentioned in the PR thread.

I think so.Avyran wrote:Is Duclair supposed to be that good, though? A pretty sure top 6 winger?
The whole NYR trading everything for a chance this year for the cup reminds me of 12-13 Penguins. I don't know, if it will work out for them.
Sort of Forsberg for Erat...didn't work too well for the Caps.

So complete deal Yandle and Summers and a 4th for Duclair, Moore a 1st (2016) and a 2nd in 2015. Yotes retain 50% of Yandle's salary.

Coyotes also get a 2nd round pick in this year's draft, while Rangers get a 4th round pick. Now this was a trade.

Re: 2014-15 Non-Pens Transactions
So the Rangers and Capitals made the flashier deals, the Pens added depth, and the Isles did nothing. Red Wings still hunting for a defenseman.. Teams trying to set themselves apart in the East..

The Pens also added Perron, just earlier.Fire0nice228 wrote:So the Rangers and Capitals made the flashier deals, the Pens added depth, and the Isles did nothing. Red Wings still hunting for a defenseman.. Teams trying to set themselves apart in the East..
