Perusing Facebook threads, article comments, etc, there are plenty (and I mean plenty) of grammatical errors made by the yokels of Pennsyltucky and Yinzburgh. But it seems this one is the most ubiquitous

"I SEEN THAT ACCIDENT DOWN ON SIXBURGH ROAD THIS MORNING"

I mean, does that even sound right when you say it?

It's "seent it" not "seen it" you poseur

I shudder when I get text messages from my mom, or when I see my cousin has posted something to my Facebook wall, for this very reason. I know it's going to be bad.

100% agreed. Before I had a daughter, I never said anything, but if I walk outside a restaurant and they are huddled right next to the door, I've been guilty of saying things like "my infant daughter appreciates you poisoning the air right outside the door, ass hole". Now that she's old enough to repeat words, not so much, but I still give them the business.
