Chimera just DROPPED Rinaldo with an uppercut. Knees buckled.

Such a man crush on Tom Wilson, I know I have said that before. He is going to be a pain in the butt to other teams for a long time. He is tough as nails.

I do, too, and games like last night's and vs. every Western Conference opponent remind me of it.

The Pens know the entire Metro has colluded to play against them, and I wish they'd do something about it.

I'm all for the Caps staying a point or two ahead of the Pens and winning this game. Pens-FLA needs to be a 3-point game. Thanks to Boston, the Flyers have a chance.

I did notice our team finally realizing subtle interference is okay and generally won't get called. I saw more than a few free hands being used by both teams and, not surprisingly, the refs let it go.

Like you mean they held secret meetings and developed a drafting, play style, dirtiness to deploy against the Pens? :)

:D Not exactly. Not the best choice of words on my part. Let's say one of our rivals devised a working strategy, and the resulting video documentation was picked up and the style adopted by the rest of the division. And now they all are perfectly content to maintain that style as long as it works for them.

Like most here, I want the Pens to have a say in it not working anymore.

Hard to watch for sure. Flyers don't seem to play as dirty against the caps as they do the pens.

Rooting for the Bruins vs. the Hawks tonight. I'm going to fill my bathtub with Purell and take a nap in it later.

Not a bad afternoon so far, Flyers - Caps was not a 3 point game. And Rinaldo gets KO'd.

We couldn't have predicted that the Flyers would run into a bunch of superior teams failing to bring their "A" games at just the right (worst for everyone else) times. Their game vs. C-Bus last week was more the norm this year.

They have 33-yo rookie Rob Zepp (who? exactly) in goal. If he and Emery hold the fort long enough for Mason to come back, and Boston and Florida don't get their crap together, well, then I owe Skatingpen and pens2005... and I'll choke on the words.

But the return of Kimmo Timonen and Steve Mason will neutralize either team. Or so I'm hearing these days (as in this weekend).

Broons helping out my mental state so far today.

It is so easy to hate the Bruins. They make it almost as effortless as hating the Flyers.
