Better Call Saul....
Spoiler:
- I didn't know what to expect, but I was extremely happy with the pilot. Show has tons of promise.

- I missed this, but apparently one of the skater kids (don't know at what point in last night's episode) said "tight tight tight" when he was skating. Foreshadowing to Tucco obviously.

- I am pretty sure that the nail salon that Saul was working out of was the same one he tried getting Walt and Skyler to buy.

- At the beginning scene at Cinnabon, when they first showed that guy who Saul thought was starring him down, I thought was Jesse Pinkman. Obviously it was not, but the first shot of him that was just of a guy in all black, kinda blurry so you couldnt see his face, I was sure it was him.

- Overall, I really like how the show tied into / referred back to BB, but still stood on its own / felt like something different.

So, a "Wheel of Time" pilot starring Billy Zane aired on FXX at 1:30 this morning. No fanfare, no advertising, not a shred of concern if someone bothered to watch it. Made on a shoestring budget just a few weeks ago and for broadcasting purposes was treated the same as any infomercial. All because the screen rights were set to revert back to Robert Jordan's estate on Wednesday.

The pilot is up on YouTube and is awful.

Wow, that looks amazingly awful. I got about eight books into the Wheel of Time series, and completely lost interest despite the countless hours I spent reading it. It just seemed like........nothing ever happened.

FXX didn't really have anything to do with it. They were paid to air the show and it was probably wedged between The Magic Bullet and Slap Chop.

I don't think I've ever watched something on FXX or had a reason to turn FXX on, so I'll agree with you on that.

I blame the lack of preparation the seemed to have to put it out there for the end of Legit. There was no reason for that show to end.

I'm not surprised when framed within the context of a Fox network not giving a weekly voice to an anti-gun foreigner.

I watch The League on FXX.

I wish I'd known about Jim Jefferies when this show was on.

Seriously. I binged breaking bad pretty much in the month of December. Now I have to wait a week and watch it one hour at a time like a savage

I did the same with Breaking Bad, all 5 seasons in a month or so just one episode after another. It's tough to have to wait a week between episodes.

Backstrom - guest star appearance from what's her name from Scrubs.
Spoiler:
as Backstrom's fiancé. Really? Aside from that hard visual, really was a good episode.
BCS kept us from watching Talking Dead. How dare they... (Haven't seen BReaking Bad so at least now that I know it is a spinoff, won't watch it either)

Chicago Fire/PD had a good two-parter over their episodes last week.

Gotham - was actually caught up before last night's ep.
Spoiler:
So Gordon and the Dr are an item. Yay for more Morena Baccarin.
Sleepy Hollow... I begin to wonder why we see so little of Katrina.
Spoiler:
I mean, nothing all episode until the last 3-5 minutes. And Steven Weber as Thomas Jefferson, puh-lease.

I'm getting totally pumped for Amazon releasing the entire first season of Bosch on Friday. I recently decided to give the pilot another watch and it's been changed since the original version they released last year for pilot season. The story feels tighter and there have been some casting changes, including the addition of Mimi Rogers. The cast is solid, but it's going to be Titus Welliver's job to carry the show and he seems to be a perfect fit for the title role. Looking forward to getting my police procedural fix with this show. :thumb:
