Re: Your irrational pet peeves
seriously - before heading off to childcare....feed. your. damn. kid. breakfast. the other people we share our sitter with make her give their almost 2 year old breakfast right at drop off. which means she can't do anything else, including tending to our infant son. like...why do they think that's ok? you're monopolizing the care provider at a critical time. for reasons that are totally your fault. today, the dad was hovering over the sitter as she cooked and served breakfast to their kid. i just can't even...

That's kinda funny. I know some people think of fries as "extra" so they just invite themselves.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:people who steal food, especially french fries, without being invited

I've had old girlfriends do it. I don't think I'll ever come to terms with it. Like, I have no problem sharing, I just can't stand when they go in without me telling them they can go in.Pavel Bure wrote:Don't ever get married.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:people who steal food, especially french fries, without being invited

It works both ways. She has a couple of fries(actually i dont order fries and if i do i dont eat them, but ill use this example), and i eat the last half of her entree. I win.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:I've had old girlfriends do it. I don't think I'll ever come to terms with it. i've never been given an amount of fries at a restaurant where, if i lost a few to thievery, it would mean i now had an insufficient amount of fries.
if someone is stealing scallops off my plate, let's talk. but fries?

My wife and I pretty much always share food at restaurants. Sometimes we end up both really wanting to try the same two things, so we both order one and split them.

Sharing your dinner is a sweet sign of love. More couples should do it.

When she grabs the fries, just reach out and grab one of the yabbos. When she complains, just say "Hey, if you can grab something you want without permission, then why can't I?"MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:seriously, **** off you stupid ****. stop touching my **** food because your stupid ass didn't order fries

I have no problem sharing. The only thing that can get on my nerves is if she asks to try some the moment it arrives at the table.

our general is food, couple bites and then someone asks "how is it?" meaning, "can I have a bite?"

yeah, if it's mrs shmenguin, she can have my whole meal without asking...even scallops. she birthed and nursed both of my kids. take whatever you want.
fries, i just don't care about, regardless if i'm married to you or not.

It really should be the other way around. Putting gas in a diesel engine is way more catastrophic than putting diesel in a gas engine.Pavel Bure wrote:I never realized that diesel pumps won't fit I to a regular gas tank.

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
To clarify, I don't mind sharing. Tasting each others entrees is part of the whole deal. It's when she tells me that she is specifically not ordering something (such as a side, an entree would be foolish) because she will just have some of mine. This ignores the whole process of my selecting a meal that suits me. I'm paying either way, if you want something order it.
