- Down Dog was pretty funny. Not great, but I chuckled and would watch as background noise.
- Turned off Cocked about five minutes it when it became obvious the writers don't know the difference between automatic and semi-automatic.
- About halfway through Mad Dogs. Cast is great but at this point it hasn't grabbed my attention or interest. I'll finish it, but it seems like a pretty standard story.

Watched the first 20 minutes of Sons of Liberty last night before I went to bed.
Different than what I thought. Much more "action/adventure" type feel than your typical historic mini series.

Watched the last third of Sons of Liberty last night (didn't watch or have much interest in the first two, but inlaws were here and that's what we went with).

I watched the first two parts. Like I said, it has more of an "action/adventure" type feel than most of the historical mini series, and there definitely have been some liberties taken with history, but overall, I've enjoyed it. I'll probably watch the last part tonight.shafnutz05 wrote:Watched the last third of Sons of Liberty last night (didn't watch or have much interest in the first two, but inlaws were here and that's what we went with).

Probably watching the finale tonight. Got a box of tissues next to the bed. Think I'll curl up with a pint of ice cream and snuggle up with my wife for the show.penny lane wrote:Goodbye Parenthood! I thoroughly enjoyed the show.

That tissue comment really changed meaning when you said your wife would be there. I was thinking i should check out parenthood.PensFanInDC wrote:That makes sense...Dickie Dunn wrote:Sounds like you've become a woman.PensFanInDC wrote:Probably watching the finale tonight. Literally every time my wife watches Parenthood, she comes upstairs right off a fresh sobbing fit. Watching that show seems completely masochistic.

Re: TV Shows
Every episode is right in the feels. Obviously it's more meaningful to us as parents but we know plenty of childless couples who enjoy the show. It's a 100% liberal show that takes place in Berkley, CA so I have no idea how I enjoy it so much.shafnutz05 wrote:Literally every time my wife watches Parenthood, she comes upstairs right off a fresh sobbing fit. Re: TV Shows
I think a bunch of History Channel shows were added to Netflix - I noticed Ice Road Truckers on there whilst browsing.
Anyone watching Agent Carter? I've enjoyed it. Does the show follow a comic book storyline, or is it entirely created for TV. I know Howard Stark and Captain America are in the comic books, but...

Why has Moonlighting completely fallen into obscurity? I forgot all about it until I randomly started watching Die Hard on Encore this afternoon. Amazon has the DVDs but they're $30 to $70 per season.

While watching Top Chef earlier, saw an ad for best new Restaurant... apparently Gordon Ramsay is one of the Execute Producers (along with Colicchio), which explains why it felt exactly like Ramsay's Best Restaurant.
