People that rush onto an elevator and say excuse me while you are trying disembark.

As in their characters are morally repugnant and so they often do not listen to one another, which is why that type of cross-talk is a hallmark of the show.

Some would describe Always Sunny as the Seinfeld characters taken to an extreme in terms of disregard for the consequences of their actions and other people.

They also created their own isolated world. I always thought the best parts are when their world interacts with people in the "real world".

I'm sure it's a good show, but I think I've refused to watch it because of the way people talk about it. DID YOU GUYS CATCH THAT "SUNNY" EPISODE LAST NIGHT?!

When the guys tried out for the Eagles is probably my favorite episode.

Hmm, I never really drew the parallel to Seinfeld because of the structural differences...but I suppose a case could be made...it definitely has some laughs in it, quite a few even, when I used to watch...but I watch so little TV (in terms of TV shows) that it just failed to stick...I'd watch it again if someone put it in front of me...

the league succeeds despite itself. it's a bunch of funny people making the best out of a dumb premise.

This is not a pet peeve, but your comment is timely....

Mrs Tif loves making puns. Often good, occasionally terrible. Last night she made one - and I don't even remember what it was - but I looked slightly to her left (at the lamp, basically) and said "See what I have to deal with?" and then looked back to her. She asked me what that was all about, and I said "I was breaking the 4th wall." She paused for a moment, then reached out and straight up smacked me on the side of my head, then looked back to the TV and took a sip of wine. It was perhaps her finest moment.

 If it came before Always Sunny I'd probably like it more...but honestly, even as a fervent fantasy football player, it's kind of weird how much it has permeated our society...

That's spousal abuse and you shouldn't stand for it!
