Interesting. We always say the Downie never gets any calls per his reputation, yet the guy drawing the most is just as bad.

For the amount of time the puck is on his stick, Kadri has to blow the league away in penalties drawn. Compared to Malkin and Crosby....Kadri rarely has the puck on his stick, yet he is constantly drawing penalties. He's easily the biggest diver in the league even though others are more well known for doing it.

I would expect the best players, especially those on good possession teams would be the ones drawing most of the penalties. Yet somehow most of the guys on that list play for teams that aren't good and most of the players aren't stars. It just goes to show that this league lets their star players get mugged. It even starts to show how the league goes about evening out games between bad teams and good ones.

It is shocking that someone like Carcillo can draw so many penalties when he is known for being a cheap shot guy, yet Downie can get murdered and no call is made. This whole game is hard to understand
