Re: TV Shows
I have to turn the subtitles on. At first it was just too hard with the heavy accents to fully follow. It gets really exciting the last two episodes (especially the last one) of both seasons.

Re: TV Shows
Don't know why but we finally watched the series finale of In Plain Sight off of our DVR this week, only 2 and a half years after it aired. Quite a fitting ending in many ways, but the way it sails off was kind of lame, in a Seinfeld kind of way.

Very good beginning. Little slow in the middle. Good finish. I will recommend to others.Idoit40fans wrote:Next watch bill burr im sorry you feel that way.

I love the bit about population needing to go down and my favorite part of it is when he says that he's been talking about it for 3 specials, because it was exactly what i was thinking at the time and i lost it laughing. I had to rewind because i missed whatever came next.count2infinity wrote:The part about the duck dynasty guy was great.

Librarians has been pretty good - haven't watched last night's ep yet though. And until it taped and TNT aired the 2004 film after the 11pm reair, I hadn't realized there had been an earlier film that set the whole thing up. So taped that too to watch before we watch last night's episode.

I thought Downton Abbey was great last night, afterwards I watched a special on the manners of Edwardian Britain which was really interesting.

Re: TV Shows
I started watching Twin Peaks last week. I loved the first season. I'd seen a few episodes when it originally aired but didn't remember much aside from the dancing dwarf. I couldn't believe how weird it was, considering it was on network TV. Season two was solid until about 1 or 2 episodes after the murderer was revealed but after that it's become a chore to watch. I think I have 6 episodes left and I'm going to have to force myself to watch them. I'd read Lynch didn't want to killer revealed that early in season 2 so maybe he didn't have ideas for the show after that. Either way, ugh, what a drop off in quality.
Is the movie any good?

Re: TV Shows
Good, I'll check out the movie when I get through the rest of season 2. Glad I'm not going crazy. I thought maybe I was just burned out from watching ~20 episodes in a day and a half, but I just had no interest in the storylines that came up after Laura's killer was revealed. I loved the show until that point though and really look forward to the new season next year.

Everything got sped up and nobody knew where anything was going once Lynch left the show. It went to crap real fast. Really excited for the new stuff.

I think the rest of season two could have been good if someone had the sense to nix the James story line.

That's good news, the more the better.
Also, recently watched the south park washington redskin and crack baby basketball episodes. Both masterpieces.
