It is not. They sure make you think the killer is the same through most of the final episode. Both series are almost identical, however, Broadchurch does not have the Tom has disappeared story line as well as a couple other minor things.
As an aside, gracepoint has been cancelled.

Completely agree, that felt like cheap shot in the gut. Totally mailed that story in, it's like after 4 episodes someone said, you only have 2 to wrap the series up... Oh sh#t, ok, let's just stop everything and make a nice generic ending (complete with unnecessary flashbacks to fill time)

Modern Family has become a repetitive bore IMO. The only two people I like are the dad and Lilly.

It's a good show. But like most shows that have been on over 4-5 seasons, it starts getting repetitive and loses some appeal if there is no end in site.

Typically, once a show sets and "end date", then it usually picks back up.

How would you compare Murco Pulo to Furgo?

I watched the first episode last night, I probably won't watch the rest due to an incredibly dumb twist.

My particular old lady did not watch it but if she did she would probably like it. There is a surprisingly small amount of violence for a show about Mongols. Don't get me wrong, there is violence, but it is, as Canaan said, usually in the final moments of an episode. There is quite a bit of female nudity but even that is mostly confined to just 2 or 3 episodes of the 6 I have seen. I think the biggest hook is that there haven't been many films or shows that capture 13th century Mongolian rule. Marco Polo's only really famous because he was the first European to eloquently describe his travels and, by proxy, the Mongolian, Chinese, and other Asian peoples and cultures.

I watched it pretty regularly the first two seasons, and always enjoyed it, but I felt it got repetitive after that.

i think it was too slow for her to be entertained. the kung fu choreography sucked me in. (badass blind monk trigger). i hate making the comparison, but its crouching tiger meets a poor mans game of thrones...if that makes any sense. its definitely a show you either love or hate.

I saw it has a 48% on Metacritic, a 22% on Rotten Tomatoes, and an 8.4 on IMDB. But it sounds like everyone on here has loved it?

Canaan is on the money with the Crouching Tiger/GoT comparison.
