Spoiler:
People that post source material spoilers mixed in with just aired material, without announcing it, are awful people. It's not just nan, but almost every time I notice it, it is. I don't understand people that are so into a show they seek out actor interviews to get snippets of what might happen in an un-aired episode, but to bring it to a forum and post it in the clear is nut kick worthy.
No, it wasn't. I am actually not sure of the post that you are referring to.
I was on another board reading a thread about a show that I watch and it was just post after post of the spoiler tag. You had to click on each one to read the post. ... It's a thread ABOUT THAT SHOW!!! If you do not want to know what happened why are you reading a thread ABOUT THE SHOW?!?!?
It is like... Have the Game Day Thread require the spoiler tag in case someone taped the game but has not watched it, yet they decided to come to the board and look at the GDT... They will find out what happened in the game before they get to watch it.
Yeah, sports are pretty easy. The only way really screw that up is to be vindictive and edit an early post with the box score. That'd be some evil stuff.
As far as LGP goes I think we are really good with spoilers for the most part. If a show has a dedicated thread (such as TWD) it is understood that anything show related does not need a spoiler. Comic info does need a spoiler.

Maybe not irrational as it's caused me a lot of grief since a customer decided to use it in lieu of a RAID 5 or 6 for whatever reason.
i use RAID 1's because my company has no technology budget. but eesh...zero? no bueno.
When the player photo array in the Penguins' game program shows a recently acquired player in their old team's jersey. Someone can't spend 15 minutes to shoop a new jersey on that picture?

Yeah, until last week, I thought RAID 0 was something you just learned about in school or something you only used if nesting RAID arrays.
Oh, backups hadn't completed since September 22nd, so there's that too.
How about when you unsubscribe and then keep getting the emails anyway? Love that. I get much better success if I just update my preferences with an invalid email address.
If they're persistent and don't respond to unsubscribe I mark it as Spam in Gmail. I *assume* that if enough people do that it flags it as spam for everyone and their business will go under.
