My innerwebz are slow and as I wait for whatever it is that shaf posted to appear on the screen I can think of the following:

So edgy...

You'd think it would be cached. Shaf kind of follows the kid around with it.

If someone thinks the majority of the Western world goes nuts for two months a year for a reason bigger than Christmas (as a cultural event, not so much the dogma of it) they're out of their mind and not worth reasoning with. It sucks that it takes away from whatever you're celebrating, but if your event really has meaning to you what everyone else is doing is inconsequential.
I'm offended because my birthday is 5 days after Christmas and in all the hullabaloo over Christmas and New Year's, everyone forgets. :(

If I wasn't born on 12/22 and on the same day as my step-dad I'd weep for you.

This is basically what I'm doing this year. Flying in late on the 24th and having my b-day festivities the next day. If you would like to play along that's great. :pop:

If I get your book for Christmas (which I think I am) I will lift it up and we will drink to it all day. Depending on how it goes we might have a new tradition on our hands...

If I got his book (it's on my list) and that F13 documentary I might just die of delight.

Spoiler:
Spoiler tags. If you do not want to know what is going on in a show/movie, don't read an article/post about said show/movie.

If that was a reply to me, good on you for putting that together.
Spoiler:
People that post source material spoilers mixed in with just aired material, without announcing it, are awful people. It's not just nan, but almost every time I notice it, it is. I don't understand people that are so into a show they seek out actor interviews to get snippets of what might happen in an un-aired episode, but to bring it to a forum and post it in the clear is nut kick worthy.

I feel the protocol for spoilers should be:
Show title + season and episode number
Spoiler:
Text
That way you know if it will spoil something for you.

When I read GDTs on delay I just read through the thread and pay attention to the time stamp, and that works. I thought it would work for the WD thread, because there are some cool insights there, but between the comic books, teaser trailer dissection, and combing through actor/director/Talking Dead interviews I'm probably going to stop. The show isn't super great to begin with but since every main character death has been spoiled I'll probably stop from now on. I'm at the S3 break so I don't have much farther to go anyway.

This whole thing is irrational because I'm complaining about two or three posters and their habits from 2012, before I even registered here. :P
