Avs are moving D Nick Holden up to forward as punishment for poor defensive play.

It's about time. Holden makes Ryan Whitney look like Rod Langway...hard to believe but Holden is actually worse than Hunwick defensively...

Buffalo and Carolina are actually ahead of the Flyers in the standings. I didn't realize they were THAT bad. They really suck.

Only worse teams right now are Lumbus and Edmonton.

1. Holy **** that looked like something out of a video game.

2. Is it just me, or does Dallas's jersey look blue in the 1st gif?

And yeah, his shoulder area is definitely blue in the first GIF.

I literally don't understand how that's physically possible. The angle that he gets hit, even if he did jump I don't get how Kessel goes up that high.

Last night, Simmonds scored with 10 seconds left in regulation to send the Flyers to OT vs. the Ducks, but they eventually (inevitably?) lost the shootout. I would have actually been OK had the Flyers won, because they need to have a carrot every several games to keep them chasing what's hopefully an impossible dream.

The players aren't tanking, at least if last night's game gives any indication. I thought it was a good game, and they fought hard to salvage 1 point. At some point, they'll probably go on enough of a run to torment everyone--us by flirting with making the POs and their fans by putting them out of the Eichel/McDavid sweepstakes.

Yeah, that was about as hard as they worked all season. They've been kind of drowsy for much of the year...

The Panthers have 55 shots on goal vs CBJ with 2:28 left in OT. Holy ****.

I always thought that I knew a little bit about hockey, but after seeing this season so far. I just come to realize that I'm a fan and nothing more. Teams like the Isles, Canucks and Lightning absolutely dominating everything. They completely shocked and surprised me and probably 1 of those 3 teams will come away as Stanley Cup Champs

Martin Brodeur should have stayed retired. That was...not good...goaltending.
