Slava Voynov practices with Kings today

After yesterday's outing of hockey tweeters Steve Lepore and Adrian Dater as creepy stalkers of women, today's hockey twitter feed is blowing up over the news that Slava Voynov is practicing with the LA Kings today.

As part of his suspension, he was not to be involved in team activities. His presence at practice and lack of comment from the Kings is not going over well. Hearing that nothing has changed, some rumors that because Voynov pleaded not guilty Kings are siding that he isn't guilty and letting him practice.

This should be interesting rest of the day.....

Meh. I don't like Voynov's suspension while he is presumed innocent.

Nor do I like to see people outed for alleged misconduct in private conversations. It's unfair and open to abuse. And probably a bit opportunistic. If he broke the law, call the police. If he didn't, stop chatting with him -- problem solved.

At Voynov's home, the officer noted blood all over bedroom, including covering comforter and a bloody handprint on floor.
Officer: Voynov pushed her into flat-screen TV where she cut her face.
Officer: Voynov pushed wife to ground multiple times, kicked her repeatedly while on ground, chocked her three times.

Total speculation here. But I would think yes if found guilty. Guessing he's here on a work visa? It would be revoked, and once that's gone he would have no legal right to stay here.

Unless his attorney filed a motion, and he could stay here while the verdict was being challenged.
