Geez Voracek is still behind Sid, I thought he trailed off. Go away.

He's just terrific, isn't he? I've been a big fan for a while now. Great little puck mover.meow wrote:Jared Spurgeon is becoming one of my favorite dmen.

Slept well after seeing the Flyers choke in the last minute against the Wild.

Apparently Hextall ripped the team a new a-hole the other night after the Rangers game?

He did. And it helped so much against the Wild...shafnutz05 wrote:Apparently Hextall ripped the team a new a-hole the other night after the Rangers game?

Good for them.Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger 22 minutes ago
Everyday in Tor it's something. Today, outrage because the Leafs ditched the stick salute to the fans. Player decision. Coaches didn't know.

Most of the fans in the gray seats are either a) not there yet 10 minutes into the game b) in line for some kind of concession or c) sucking on their electric pacifier - so what difference does it make. Half the people in the lower bowl at Leafs games have no idea a game is even going on...the other half saw on their phone that the Leafs are playing tonight...

Re: The Flyers. They were my primary early game the past two nights actually. They were embarrassed against the Rangers, severely out worked. They had Mason and the top line and everything else was bad. I had the ES chances at 12-3 New York after 2. They got some concentrated attack time with the extra man in the last four minutes, but they were a weak attempt at modern goals. Which is: Back to the point, a mass of humanity forms in front and you load it into the Plinko machine to see if it tips into the $10,000 slot.
Last night, they were much more invigorated top to bottom. The Wild molasses'd up the game but they were on their heels a few times. Then the $30 million, #5 d-man Andrew MacDonald gets a little too saucy and loses the game for Philadelphia...excellent!

The stick salute at the end of a professional game is my biggest hockey pet peeve, and that is a monumental feat. It beat out sitting on the boards, "Stanley Cup Finals," and the term "classless"

Really? Wow. Say what you will about him, but Lucic is a tough customer with a big square head. Well, good to know that Prout is good for something at this level...

Only going off of tweets from Portzline, but he's a pretty trustworthy source.
Barnaby also commented on it.

I'd roster a guy that can deliver one to Lucic's suckhole.

Oh man. Just watched the video on my phone. Prout drops him, Lurch gets up, refs try to separate. Lurch trys to throw a punch, then throws his glove in a hissy fit at Prout.

Re: Other NHL games 2014-2015 season
I saw it on Sportsnet. Lucic is pissed because Lucic still has a glove on. I can't wait to see the next Bruins/Blue Jackets game, Lucic is going to be engaged for that one...

What a hit. Could've clocked Lucic earlier but waited till he was ready and just a heavy punch.

Re: Other NHL games 2014-2015 season
huh...thought something meaningful happened based on the comments. If this wasnt a team that embarassed the pens a couple years ago, no one would have brought that up.
