That's very different and I've used that phrase.

Punchable faces has some history on LGP.
By the looks of it, it has been attributed to the following people:
Vance Worley - Rocco
Rick Nash - MIMH
Chris Osgood - Slappy
Jonathan Papelbon - TheGhostOfGoulet
Brad Marchand - Steve, DontToewsMeBro
John Jay - canaan
Chris Hayes - dodint, who later nominated him a 2nd time after seeing a pic of him on google
"those PS4 guys" - Spangler
Steve Ott - sil/Lt. Dish in a team effort
Claude Giroux (officially described as "this turd", but mentioned during a punchable faces discussion)
Alec Baldwin - idoit40fans
David Luiz - Rocco
Dan Bylsma - SoupOrSam
Jeremy Roenick - Steve
Matt Holliday - TheGhostOfGoulet
Milan Michalek - Juice, Malkamaniac
Andrew Fillaponi - JS©
Phillip Rivers - Beveridge, thewicked child (separate posts)
Govs. Tom Corbett and Tom Wolf - pghskins
Brandon Dubinsky - MRandall25, MIMH
and last but not least, Todd Chrisley of Chrisley Knows Best - apparently me
Although that's a solid list, why do I feel there are people missing?

I was one of the ones that called for Brad Marchand I'm sure, but if we're doing nominations I'd like to offer Mike Milbury.

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
I could go back and check who added who as the punchable face. I know I'm on the hook for Poni, knan is responsible for Giroux, and probably DudeMan is responsible for Chrisley.
Edit: tabs are still open, doing it.

I had to Google him again, and now I want to punch him in the face again. On 22 Apr 2014, 21:37 dodint wrote:Chris Hayes has a supremely punchable face. I know nothing about him at all, I saw his face for like 25 seconds and then came straight here.

As a board, we are pretty fair arbiters of whose face is punchable. I approve.JS© wrote:Punchable faces has some history on LGP.

How does Hartnell not make the cut?
Attribute that to me.

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
Yeah, the list isn't 'people you want to punch' but people with punchable faces.
Like George W. Bush. A fairly harmless old man at this point, but just looking at him you'd love to pull back and just let fly right into his face.

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
I always attribute "punchable face" as if you've never heard the person speak in your entire life, but just looking at them you know you want to hit them in the face. Don't think anyone tops my list over this face

I cannot stand when I see someone else's computer screen and see more than a few programs open at a time or more than 5 tabs on their browser open. It literally causes me physical pain because I get like a headache when I see it. CLOSE YOUR DAMN TABS YOU DONT NEED THAT MANY TABS OPEN

Well that is certainly irrational.
I think it depends on what you do. I have 6 programs open right now and 3 tabs open on my browser.

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
that's not terrible. I have 4 tabs open and 9 programs but I'm in software so I always have to have a bunch of programs (Visual Studio, command prompt, SQL server, Outlook, Chrome etc.) open. But I have some meetings where someone shares their screen and they have something like 20+ programs and 15+ tabs open on multiple browsers.PensFanInDC wrote:Well that is certainly irrational.

Just seems so unnecessary, I want to ask why he doesn't close them.

"Sir...why do you have chrome, firefox, internet explorer, netscape*, and aol** all open at the same time?"
*Netscape was a web browser from back before you were born
**AOL was the google of the early to mid 90s
