Yeah, good episode. Felt like it could've worked as an hour long one as well.FreeCandy44 wrote:FreeCandy44 wrote:Simpsons/Futurama crossover is on tonight. To say im excited is an understatement.

Blacklist "fall finale" was very good last night, but now it's gone until Super Bowl night.

Re: TV Shows
I watched this last night and realized I forgot what happened at the end of last season. Throughout the first half I wondered if I actually liked any of these characters, but by the end I was invested again.Letang Is The Truth wrote:News room?

The past 2 episodes have been very good, the rest of the season not so much.blackjack68 wrote:Blacklist "fall finale" was very good last night, but now it's gone until Super Bowl night.

I agree.
That's why it was good to end this "season" on an up note.

The new girl with winston's interview at the apartment was the hardest I've laughed in a while for a TV show

My wife and I were laughing pretty hard too. I thought it was the best episode they have done.Letang Is The Truth wrote:The new girl with winston's interview at the apartment was the hardest I've laughed in a while for a TV show

Winston is the most under rated character on TV. I didn't like him in season 1, but they've taken his character to wonderful places.

Re: TV Shows
We watched the episode last night from season 2 where he gets his period. I thought he was fantastic in that.

Yeah, I used to think he was annoying and didn't add much to the show, but he has definitely developed and has become one of my favorites.shmenguin wrote:Winston is the most under rated character on TV. I didn't like him in season 1, but they've taken his character to wonderful places.
Honestly, out of everyone on New Girl, Jess is probably my least favorite (but I still like her character).

Did they! Oh thank GOD! That was probably the worst opening I've ever seen. Is the song still the same?

I honestly don't remember about the song - was so caught up in the different visuals.PensFanInDC wrote:Did they! Oh thank GOD! That was probably the worst opening I've ever seen. Is the song still the same?

They slowly started to change the opening credits. It used to be the whole damn song, then just a line, and now different visuals.

Song is still there, but yes, the visuals have changed. It was a shock. But it is only like 5 seconds.

I think the opening was supposed to be tongue in cheek served with a side of irony. I never minded it.

Yeah, it never bothered me either. Especially since it was seriously like 5-10 second long.shmenguin wrote:I think the opening was supposed to be tongue in cheek served with a side of irony. I never minded it.

Re: TV Shows
The theme song for New Girl reminded me of something Flo would sing in a Geico ad.
