Re: The Walking Dead
The last time we say a horrible throw away episode was when the Governor found Tara but it was necessary to set up the following episodes to make the prison showdown what it should have been in Season 3. This though? I don't get it. I think a lot of people would have been fine with having the Terminus/Hunters arc spread over 5 epiosdes instead of jamming a lot into the first 3.

I honestly didn't think the episode was that bad. We'll see what it is setting up, especially with Carol coming in.

I enjoyed it, as it setup the next few (probably) great episodes.

Re: The Walking Dead
Interesting theory tying back to the webisodes, there was a picture of Rick and Shane and someone speculates the woman is Dawn so she may know Rick which would add some more drama.

Re: The Walking Dead
That's more than a ridiculous stretch. Apart from being a dark haired woman with her hair pulled back, that picture looks nothing at all like the actress that plays Dawn.DelPen wrote:Interesting theory tying back to the webisodes, there was a picture of Rick and Shane and someone speculates the woman is Dawn so she may know Rick which would add some more drama.

That episode was fine. You need to cultivate a story and develop characters.
But regarding the big reveal...no doi

Re: The Walking Dead
I didn't mind the episode at all. With a cast that big, I like this approach better than having one episode of like 20 different story lines going on.
Looks like next week will be the Daryl/Carol side of things, and then the last 2 will pull it all togehter.

Re: The Walking Dead
I noticed some continuity errors in this episode. When Abraham and Glenn are at the window, the first scene shows a white box/cube truck. Later during that scene, it's a Sprinter van. Also, during Eugene's reveal/fight scene, the fire truck appears suddenly.

Re: The Walking Dead
I liked it. It will really help with Abraham's character in the coming episodes/next season. Eugene's "big reveal" and the choppy and horribly done flashbacks make you understand a bit more about his character.

Re: The Walking Dead
Beth episode was terrible, last episode was so boring for the first half that I almost fell asleep. Guess it ended alright, but what a letdown after 3 excellent episodes to start the season.

And we have a new candidate for least believable moment in the show.

Re: The Walking Dead
Le Sigh. So they rushed through the interesting early part of the season... and now we're going to stretch out rescuing Beth over multiple episodes. This show makes it difficult for me sometimes.

I liked that episode. The problem with any episode focusing on Beth is that she's a horrible actress.

That was ok. I don't mind character episodes. But knowing everyone's fate beforehand took me out of it. The spoilers were fun at the time, but there was no suspense tonight.
I hate the hospital. It's a terrible story with terrible characters. But we already knew we'd have to suffer at least one more episode of it.

Re: The Walking Dead
I enjoyed an episode with Carol and Darryl. I just wish it wasn't part of a crusade to rescue Beth.
