Two episodes in and Arrow is pretty awesome. Look forward to the alleged improvement midway through the first season.

It's amazing how much better it gets. Probably my favorite show on TV right nowDickie Dunn wrote:Two episodes in and Arrow is pretty awesome. Look forward to the alleged improvement midway through the first season.

Second episode of Constantine was really good, I hope nbc doesn't mess this up.

Re: TV Shows
They've done a pretty good job of letting Hannibal run its course through two seasons. They may actually be ahead of the curve a bit with these grittier shows, and that's a huge plus in their favour.Chefpatrick871 wrote:Second episode of Constantine was really good, I hope nbc doesn't mess this up.

I have the same thought and I'm also 2 episodes in. If this gets better then I am amazed. It's like a decent 45 minutes super hero movie each episode. Amazing production quality.Dickie Dunn wrote:Two episodes in and Arrow is pretty awesome. Look forward to the alleged improvement midway through the first season.

Re: TV Shows
Only one episode behind on Person of Interest again... no new episode this week, so maybe I can get caught up before the next one airs... maybe.
I'm enjoying this season more than I expected going in. Still not crazy about Samaritan, but it is what it is at this point.

I've seen this on Netflix and wondered about it. What's it comparable to?Gaucho wrote:Lilyhammer is pretty good.

It's sort of like a cross between Fargo, Northern Exposure, and the Sopranoes based in Norway.MWB wrote:I've seen this on Netflix and wondered about it. What's it comparable to?Gaucho wrote:Lilyhammer is pretty good.

I tried to get into Lilyhammer a long time ago, and couldnt.
I am, however, looking forward to Marco Polo. I believe that starts in December.

Re: TV Shows
if you're into the second season it's not a wig anymore. the actress was able to finally grow out her real hair.Digitalgypsy66 wrote:It's a wig, and I can't stop looking at it. Don't know why.Letang Is The Truth wrote:I don't get the issue w keens hair
I get what you're saying though. I recently found out that Lt Van Buren on Law and Order's hair was a wig the entire time because she thought the dreads she wore (as seen in Terminator 2) weren't appropriate for an NYPD Lt. and now it's all. I. can. see.

Re: TV Shows
sucks to think that in just over a month Colbert Report will be over. In my opinion it and South Park have been the most consistently shows on the air the last 10 years.
I have no confidence that his network show will be nearly as good, just because his audience will change significantly. The fact that these networks have sitcoms that require laughtracks because their audiences don't know when the punchlines occur tells me a lot about the intelligence of the people that watch the shows.

Re: TV Shows
Are you comparing sitcoms and talk shows? I don't necessarily think the audiences for those shows are mutually inclusive.

I like Sleepy Hollow. I think of it as Turns comedy cousin.
Not that it's funny, just more lighthearted. Probably because of all the mystical stuff.
lol, Bad Judge is already cancelled. You think?

Didn't finish the last episode of season 1. Sat on DVR for a while then got rid of the box. It wasn't terrible. I could see how some would really like it.Chefpatrick871 wrote:Any Sleepy Hollow fans? Just starting it now.

Loved last nights Gotham. If they keep on this sort of track, the show will be pretty good. It's neat seeing another actual villian from the comics introduced.tfrizz wrote:Good episode of Gotham tonight. The storyline is really starting to come together.
I really hope this show sticks and the writing continues to get better.

If I could go back in time to before I started watching Arrow and kick myself in the nuts for not watching it, I would. This might be my new favorite show.

Sunday's Brooklyn 99 was pretty good.
Sleepy Hollow... was more suspenseful than most of the recent episodes.
