The Steelers are often at their best when nobody gives them a chance.

Is someone going to distract Haley with a laser pointer all game so the offense can score points?

Didn't Bernard get dinged up in addition to Green being out? That's an incompetent offense without those two players.

The Colts are ranked eighth in yardage allowed and fourth in PPG allowed. I know the Colts were soft on defense in the past, but that couldn't be further from the truth this season.

Reggie Wayne is out this Sunday. Guessing this means T.Y. Hilton will get the honors of setting Cortez Allen on fire over and over.

This team is trolling right? Just noticed their record this year is:

W-L-W-L-W-L-W

Taking the 8-8 far too literally. They're up 18 on the Colts in the early 2nd quarter. What could go wrong?

The ravens defense will make this win an afterthought come this Sunday.

lol, we'll see. The game is at home, which obviously helps. And don't forget....the Colts shut out the Bengals. We scored 51 on the Colts. The Bengals scored 27 on the Ravens. By my rough math, that equates to a 78-20 victory on Sunday night.

Haley's going to re-install his Horizontal Offense for the Ravens game since Baltimore will prepare for a vertical attack. Gotta keep the opponent guessing.

I'm not too concerned about what the colts did to anyone. The steelers obviously brought something yesterday that up till then was absent. If you think that Matavius Bryant all of a sudden makes roethlisberger look like dan fouts, then you are going to get let down.

I think it's safe to say that this game is the outlier. I will revise my season prediction though, 9-7.

He's not Plax in his prime yet, but he gives Ben a downfield option and a red zone option. Takes a lot of pressure off AB, which can't hurt. At least teams have to respect him now, teams could have shut Wheaton down if they pulled Chad Scott off the streets to cover him.

Going back to Polamalu, has anyone figured out why instead of wrapping up a pass catcher, he simply runs at him full speed and just throws his body haphazardly at him in a hope that it knocks him off balance? No wonder he's been hurt so much.

It's every DB. It's why there's so many injuries and now penalties to save them from themselves. Nobody wraps and tackles, they just launch themselves to get the big hit.

I always thought he did it because the guys running were usually bigger than he was and wrapping them was a non-option cause they would just break the tackle.

I think Troy Polamalu is plenty strong to tackle any WR. Is his form good enough? Different story

Higher percentage to launch at them rather than get dragged?

Troy 5'10" 207lbs

Megatron 6'5" 240lbs

Basically yeah. Which is a shame because the occasional big hit across the middle was exciting. Now it's just, they try for it every time, and it's not even legal. As a result we get these wimpy rules, can't hit high, can't hit low.. But the players have themselves to blame

I don't think Troy could make a form tackle on a guy like Sproles either for what that's worth. I think the higher percentage play is for him to launch at their legs like he's done his entire career.
