Sorry to disappoint you, but I use Ultrabrite toothpaste. It's really cheap and was once the top-rated toothpaste in Consumer Reports.

I shave after the shower but always figured my pre showered oily face would be more beneficial to shaving than steamy raised hair. I rinse my face with hot water anyway before applying shaving cream.

I brush after shower too. I rinse my mouth intensively though. I've seen people not rinse their mouth after brushing. That blows my mind. Using hot water to brush is something I've never heard of. The water combines with warm spit immediately. But my mouth does water like crazy when brushing. I can't walk around the house for example. Also: toothpaste, water, brush. No need for water first. Just tilt the brush. Though maybe with some toothpastes the toothpaste trends to fall off the brush if not careful
