No Official Thread for the WBS game?

Post by CT Mechanic »

I would have thought someone would start one. Or did I miss it?

At the moment, it's tied 2-2 with 7 min left in the game. WBS got the first goal in the second period.

I saw it costs $6 to watch it live via the internet. I think tomorrow my girlfriend will watch it, she's really cheering for Fleury in the playoffs. She was even talking about a roadtrip this weekend to see the game.

No idea. I keep hitting refresh on the AHL website. It went to overtime a minute ago.

I saw:

Talbot had an assist.

Filewich scored a goal.

The other goal scorer, I forget, but he is 1+1.

And our boy Ryan Whitney is -2 in plusminus. :(

Out shot and out scored in the 3rd period, if I had to guess, I'd say the momentum is on Bridgeport's side.

I've been listening to the game and the both Bridgeport goals sounded like defensive breakdowns that hung Fleury out to dry. He apparently made a huge save in the 3rd according to Grace.

Yeah apparently both goals for Bridgeport were wide open slam dunks - bad bad defensive lapses by the Penguins. Figures, the best defensive team in the league can't protect a lead in the playoffs.

And Endicott loses his man and Welch has to take a penalty in OT... great.

I've heard "Endicott turns it over" at least 8 times tonight. Way to keep up the good work Shane!

He is going to need a psychologist after this season.

Ryan Stone wins it in OT on the PP!

From the sounds of it Fluery made some very good saves all night long including one right before the PP goal on an odd man rush.

WOOOHOOOO!!

Keep it going Fleury!

He has to win it all so the critics will be reduced too, "the Calder Cup doesnt mean anything".

I think the game threads should be in the affiliates area.

They're already there. Read the thread in the other forum. NIN, I've already been arguing against this!
