Probably an easy one but...

This player has the most goals in NHL history....for all players who have never scored a hat trick.

(This has been 'a fact' for many years now with hockey friends. Al Iafrate was the shooter.)
I thought that was Al MacInnis that did it, or did Al do damage to another goaltender?
Fact, then?

It would be so painfully cool if validated. I would have new found respect for Vernon, that's for sure.
I'm thinking that it wasn't Vernon, or at least in the story that I remember. However MacInnis once cracked the helmet of goaltender Mike Liut.

Edit: found it. He did rupture the testicle of goaltender Rich Parent (his teammate at the time) during warmups during the 1998-99 season.

Dennis O'Brien and Dave McLlwain are the only two players to have suited up for 4 different NHL franchises in the same season. O'Brien played for Boston, Minnesota, Colorado, and Cleveland in the 1977-78 season. McLlwain pulled Winnipeg, NYI, Buffalo, and Toronto sweaters over his head in the 1992-93 season.

November 22, 1972, the Penguins set an NHL record during the game, scoring 5 goals in 2 minutes, 7 seconds, beating the Blues 10-4.

Jarrod Skalde played for 8 different NHL teams, spaced out over 11 season, while only dressing for 115 total games.

From 1980 to 2010, only two draft classes (1983 and 2003) have had every first round draft choice play a NHL game. The leader in first round busts is 2007, where 5 first round choices are/were unable to appear in a NHL game.

Rob Brown would eat Pringles in the penalty box so loud that the refs called him Crunchers.

Good fact, and I'm defending Reimer's suckiness, but he's only played for Ron Wilson and Randy Carlyle. That's tough in it's own right.

Stolen from Twitter:
@SportsnetSpec: With an assist tonight, Nicklas Backstrom becomes the first player from the 2006 draft to reach 500 points. Beats Toews, Kessel, Giroux

Somehow Backstrom is basically a PPG player (500 in 501). Pretty quiet for a PPG guy.

I find it hilarious how Hall, RNH and Yakupov are all on there yet the Oilers are such a tremdnous trainwreck.

It probably has more to do with most of the players in those classes not being forced into lineups right out of a draft. It doesn't mean the first overall is great if he's leading his draft class. Just that he was clearly good enough to get taken early, and has been provided with more opportunities to score than some other picks

The only one out of those 3 even ready to be on the NHL ice was Hall. RNH and Yako were not good in their rookies years.

Whoever typed up that menu must have been missing the period key on their keyboard. 12,75 as prices? What the hell is that?
