Milbury wasn't just on the fence about things though...he's like a super old school goon squad...it's just a little off-putting coming from him now...
I'm with Bob on the subject anyway...word for word, I've said that same thing before when discussing this previously...

And Colin Powell is very suspect about the use of force.
I'm willing to listen to people who really know the downsides of something.
I like fighting...but it should probably go away.

The Hawks agree right nowKraftster wrote:So pathetic. So every non Penguins game I've watched so far this year has gone to a shootout.

I wish someone would engrave "A fight is between two willing participants" on a baseball bat and then repeatedly beat the idea into Milbury's head. Or maybe just put it on a shoe.

Re: Other NHL games 2014-2015 season
What really pissed me off tonight, was Milbury's use of editing to justify Thornton's assault last year against Orpik.
He showed the clean hit, then he showed Neal's knee… THEN showed Thornton as "policing the game" as if Thornton only went after Orpik after the Neal knee, when in fact he was going after Orpik because of a clean hit.
Thornton should be out of hockey - you can't seriously condone grabbing someone from behind, throwing them backward to the ice, and then raining forearms and elbows down into their head as "policing" a clean hit.

Last night a fan tried to distract Rask with a laser pointer. Imbecile.

Society needs to bring back medieval stocks. Causes no physical harm, but shames the person that does something stupid. Something like 6 hours in the stocks in Market Square or such.llipgh2 wrote:Last night a fan tried to distract Rask with a laser pointer. Imbecile.

This list is funny in that I'm not totally sure the author knows Larry David doesn't really steal forks.

It wasn't even that good of a goal. Looked like it flubbed and Pavelec misplayed it.
