Trois Pistoles & Affligem. Chimay blue on deck, but doubt I'll get to it tonight.
I do think I prefer the Terrible to the Pistoles, interestingly.

Founders Breakfast Stout. So good. But if you're not a coffee drinker you might not like it.

I might get flamed for this but Angry Orchard is some delicious and dangerous stuff. I could drink 12 of these and not even blink.

Ever had the grapefruit IPA? Not so good. Everything else is pretty top drawer.

Definitely. It's pretty solid for a mass produced cider.PensFanInDC wrote:I might get flamed for this but Angry Orchard is some delicious and dangerous stuff. I could drink 12 of these and not even blink.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
No flaming at all. Ciders are legit and are becoming bigger. I read an article the other day that cideries are growing in the US at a rate close to that of microbreweries 15 years ago. It very well may be the next big thing in micro-brewing. I made some a couple weeks ago... haven't tried it yet, still needs a bit more time, but honestly it couldn't be more simple of a process. I think pressing your own apples give the cideries style choices and apple choice, where as if you're going and buying cider it's usually a blend of apples. Truth be told, I'm a huge cider fan and certainly wouldn't mind there being more options available.PensFanInDC wrote:I might get flamed for this but Angry Orchard is some delicious and dangerous stuff. Chillwave seemed to have a strong grapefruit flavor to me. Not overly so, but noticeable.slappybrown wrote:Nice glad you liked it and that's a good comparisoneddysnake wrote:Stone Enjoy by 10.31.14 was fantastic. Reminds me of Chillwave.

Speakeasy, Vendetta IPA. Special release. A Top 10 beverage that I have had this year. Clean, hoppy, perfect malt support.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
I'm into ciders also. Not as into ciders as Genny cream ale, but I digress (that was sarcasm, I like ciders better I'm just cheap)
I've had the usuals, Woodchuck, Angry Orchard and a few of their flavors, the one that's made by Miller, Strongbow, and Redd's. I would like to try that 8% Redds someday soon. Anyways, what's up with these reserve/vintage ciders besides stronger ABV? How is the taste affected?
