When a web-page doesn't load and the browser just stops. I know it didn't finish, the browser knows it didn't finish. Just **** refresh already, why make me do it?
I hate DoD internet access. Ever see a dog jumping through a bunch of flaming hoops at a circus or something? That's what my packets have to do everytime I want to go somewhere on the web, except the hoops are proxies and firewalls and content filters. GAH.

My office's content filter is turd ferguson. It made everything so slow that I may or may not have disabled it last year and never turned it back on.

Just filled out a Dunkin Donuts Perks survey that asked personality questions like "Do you wear your emotions on your sleeve?" "Are you punctual?" "Are you a planner?"
That is crazy. Does an executive at Dunkin Donuts want to see what an emotional, non-punctual, planner thinks about their Perks program?

Nothing irrational about that. It would only be irrational to like him.count2infinity wrote:The guy that sings the national anthem(s) in Boston.

Their meat sales used to be good too. Today they had "roasts for 40 percent off!"... originally priced 9 bucks a pound, down to 5.cheesesteakwithegg wrote:Speaking of Giant Eagle, was there yesterday and noticed that many of their "sales" are now you must by 4 or 3 (or whatever) to get the discount. For example, Pepsi 12 packs were on sale 4 for 12. But in order to get that price, you had to buy 4. Lesser quantities were sold at $4.99 each. Miss the days when I could get one 12 pack for $3.

Is ground lamb hard to come by this time of year? Went to all the big stores and our butcher and no go.

If I need ground lamb I usually get a lamb and grind it myself. I've needed it like one time in my life though lol

Couldn't find any lamb at all, actually.
It wasn't for me. My sister is doing this program where they send you all the food/fixins and you provide the meat. Her first one called for a bunch of ground lamb. So there it sits.![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Meat in general has really gone up this past year.mac5155 wrote:Their meat sales used to be good too. If you have two knives and a whole shoulder of lamb, you're only about 20 minutes of finger aching work away from ground lamb. Or you could just dice it really small and your sister could say she was going for more of a 'rustic' presentation.

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
I suppose I could lift a lamb from a farm. Like I said, couldn't find any for sale anywhere. Wasn't sure if there was such a thing as 'lamb season.'
I'm back in NC, and she's in PA, so it's moot now.

Completely. The only thing grander than his hideous singing is how great he clearly thinks he is.Idoit40fans wrote:Nothing irrational about that. It would only be irrational to like him.count2infinity wrote:The guy that sings the national anthem(s) in Boston.

As someone on Twitter put it last year during the playoffs, "The reason Rene Rancourt's hair looks so smooth and shiny is because its straight from the scalp of his latest victim."

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
found this funny for some reason:
Rancourt served in the US Army in the 1960s in which after winning a singing contest he was assigned to GI traveling show which kept him from being sent to Vietnam.

Get the lamb from Jamison Farms in Latrobe/Crabtree. You'll pay through the nose for it, but it's the best lamb I've ever eaten, and that's saying a lot since I cooked it myself. Outstanding.dodint wrote:Couldn't find any lamb at all, actually.
