Never heard of Twin Peaks. Looked it up on Wiki and saw it's a show from 1990...what? Can't they come up with anything original anymore?

What?

They aren't remaking it. They are continuing it. Fans of the show are super pissed about how it ended. There was no resolution. Also, one of the, er...main? characters? said in the final episode that she would "see you [agent cooper] in 25 years" Makes sense to me.

This was probably one of the most "original" shows of all time. With Lynch in the writers/directors chair for all 9 episodes, I'd have to say it's still going to be one of the most original shows out there.

I was like 6 years old when it originally aired, so that might have something to do with me not caring about this show, too.

It's on Netflix. I highly recommend it. I remember watching the first season when I was 9 and it scared the crap out of me. My wife and I watched the entire series earlier this year/late last year. Give it a shot. It's dated to be sure but that is to be expected.

Took me a while to figure out who the cameo was at first, then it just hit me. The wig threw me off at first

Give it a shot, also just as a heads up, there was a lot of really good stuff before 1990.

Castle last night...
Spoiler:
I'm guessing they're going to draw out the reason for the two-month disappearance as long as they can... no sign of an end yet.
Caught up on Forever, enough to keep it in the rotation. Will probably watch the third ep of Gotham. (Speaking of that, the actor playing Gordon reminds me of a younger Russell Crowe)

Peaky Blinders is so good. I love every line of dialogue in this show. I could lay in bed and replay episodes just to hear them talk as I fall asleep.

in today's PC climate you could NEVER get away with the kind of stuff Barney Miller and All In the Family did back in the day.

That actually makes sense. Why can a drama like Sons drop the n-word like it's cool left and right but a comedy can't do anything close to that? What is the edgiest comedy out there right now? Louie?

Not a fan of a woman who could bench press a car.
