In any case, Niskanen just pushed off what should have been Skinner's chest with a forearm and wasn't even looking at him, nothing even warranting a penalty there. Skinner of all people should be moving around leading with his chin in an area of high traffic like that.

Talk to any Canes fan and they will tell you Semin is one of their best forwards along with being their second best defensive forward after Jordan. He's the least of their problems.

This sucks for Skinner, though. He had a pension for getting destroyed his first couple years in the league. Youtube Jeff Skinner hit and there's like 15 videos of him getting nailed harder any shot Crosby has taken throughout his career. It looked like he was gaining some more awareness on the ice last season though. Hopefully this isn't another concussion because I'll fear for his career if he's getting concussed from contact that innocuous.

It wasn't high at all, Skinner was ducking for some inexplicable reason. Nisky was also ducking. And his elbow never even hits his head, it's the thumb of the glove which is hard plastic which got Skinner.

Unfortunate accident that would have left almost anyone no worse for wear, if this gave Skinner a concussion he should retire now.
