Not ready for Person of Interest to come back. I've been having trouble keeping up with the shows I'm already watching. I cleared most of my DVR out this weekend, but still haven't gotten to last week's Boardwalk Empire.

We watched the season premieres of New Girl and Mindy last night. Some funny moments, some weird moments.

Sleepy Hollow is back tonight, Chicago Fire on Tuesday and Chicago PD on Wednesday. Then Bones and Grey's duel it out for premieres at 8 on Thursday, while Brooklyn 99 apparently moves to Sunday night. Castle isn't back until 9/29. Oh, and Person is back but we are still so far behind in it just thankful we have the DVR space aplenty on that one.

Yes. I'm not getting too excited because I don't trust Fox at all when it comes to getting TV shows right.

Yep, looks good. Big Bank Theory and Blacklist premiere tonight too. Those two, Parks and Rec (is this the last season?), and Walking Dead are the only current shows I watch now. Probably add Gotham to it. I try to keep up on Family Guy via OnDemand too. The other stuff I watch is all catch up on past series cvia Netflix.

I watched 30 minutes of Gotham and liked it as well. Will probably wait until it goes to netflix. I don't see the show working for more than 3 seasons.

CW always starts a couple weeks after major networks kickoff.

Season 3 starts October 8, one day after Flash debut.

I also enjoyed Gotham. Parts of it felt a bit off and the dialogue was stilted at times, but pilots always have issues that get worked out down the line.

During the chase scene, the up close facing the camera view was awful.

I found it to be very weird, distracting, and unnecessary. Possibly one of the worst things I've ever seen in a tv show.

Loved the Blacklist.

They, like Person of Interest, have figured out a great way to have weekly self-contained episodes that have an overarching story as well.

And Spader rules.

And, I guess they got the memo on Keen's wig.

This is basically the best way to run a drama (crime, sci-fi, etc.) IMHO.

I assumed it would be getting a producer credit this year.

Gotham sucked. It's like the universe was mixed into a bad "Heroes" write up. Suck. Suck. Suck.

SHIELD was really good. If they bring in some if the Howling Commandos for the Agent Carter mini series this winter that will be awesome. ABC might have a winning plan that I hope is used to launch more shows, give a semi related spinoff a short run during its winter break. The second Walking Dead series could do this, have their runs be during the originals breaks this way you can kind of have a year long series.

Really enjoyed it as well. And totally agree on Howling Commandos. If they put them in for the Agent Carter mini series, it would be fantastic.

I was looking through the TV guide last night and saw a good episode of Law and Order on WE network (I am not ashamed) and started watching it. Then I started watching the next one, and the next one, and soon it was 2AM. Damn, Law and Order always does that to me. That is partially why I avoid watching them on Netflix because I know I just blow away time watching them. It was worth it though. Episodes were from the Briscoe & Curtis years.
