RIP to the best caller in Stern show history. Eric the actor was hated by some but I loved him and his calls were the highlight of the show for me for many years. sad day.

Eric is on the front of yahoo.com. Every Stern staff twitter account is silent. Which begs the question...what the **** does Howard 100 News actually do other than schill for various staff member pet projects. Steve Langford might have been the only real newsman to ever have worked for that group.

The RIP is up on howardstern.com now. I'm sure they wanted confirmation as his death has been reported multiple times.

It's an entertainment program and the "news" part of it was long ago neutered.dodint wrote:Eric is on the front of yahoo.com. Every Stern staff twitter account is silent. Glad he's getting the notoriety he craved so much when he was alive. Someone said this morning that he's finally an actor. RIP.

Fly me with balloons.... so I can meet Catherine McPhee..........
And who can forget ' the call' to Johnny Fratto? "You know what to do..."
ATM, what a terrible, cranky, unthankful little turd. He will be sadly missed.![Sad ](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

nice special on him this morning, going back hearing some of these moments on the show are hilarious, so many great call ins. Jimmy Kimmel calling in talking about his favorite moments is just spectacular.

I assume it was Daniel Mendelson that did it? His mastery of taking down JD is epic.
