JR really worked right up till the end there. I'm not sure whether to feel happy or sad for folks like that. I defintately want my last ~10-15 years to be pretty relaxed, can't imagine working that hard right up till the end. Anyone know if that surgery was elective?

Also, Howard Stern is screwed. She was the boilerplate booking when no one else was available, she was on about 15 times a year and he only does about 120 shows.

Super group usually has a specific meaning and I was always puzzled as to how that applied to them.

Apparently, Eye of the Tiger singer was a major jag, so the band cut him. And then had 3-4 more solid hits.

I thought he had throat problems (polyps, maybe?) and had to take a year+ off to recuperate and the band replaced him.

Not that it means he's not a jag but the recent shows they were playing had both of them, so apparently they reconciled.

Followed up on this, it's SOP when there's a major complication at an outpatient surgical facility. The investigation is being conducted by the New York State Health Department, and apparently was already in the works before she passed.
