PCL injury on his right knee. I've seen it described as "not serious".FreeCandy44 wrote:So what happened to Spence?
Speaking of injuries, the great Ike Redman has retired.

I've heard him called Ike sometimes. He was always listed as Isaac officially by the Steelers / NFL officially though. His Twitter is Isaac as well

Guessing he posted to twitter as a picture, seeing as twitter's character limit is capped at 140.

Re: Official 2014-2015 Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
The SF stadium situation is wacky. The football stadium is, as you note, nowhere near the city. The baseball stadium is squished in up against the Bay with like zero on-site parking (it's across a canal). Even Candlestick was goofy; it was tucked sort of against the side of a hill.shafnutz05 wrote:On a random note, I didn't realize how far the new Niners stadium was from San Francisco. It's the whole way down in San Jose, which would be the equivalent of having the Steelers stadium in Slippery Rock. Of course, if I-79 was as congested as a typical Bay Area interstate.

This gentleman's favorite stiller photo is the one of the fat guy running down the street shirtless, waving a towel, and wearing a helmet with a big stiller logo on his guy.

"Imagine watching Russell Wilson evade six defenders to convert a third down, and then flipping the channel to see this lumbering whale attempt to do the same thing. "
The exact kind of stupidity i expect from these things. It would be funny if it wasnt the polar opposite of accurate.

Wow that is just horrible writing. I mean you can make good satire about the steelers and their fan base. It must have been written by a dumbass.

I'm usually one of Big Bens biggest critics, but for him being 6'5" and "250", which probably means about 265+, he gets around better than a lumbering whale.
Of course Wilson will get around than Ben. He's six inches shorter and about 60 lbs lighter. Let's see Wilson shake off about 4 defenders and then find a way to get the ball down field

he does look like he's gotten over the off season fattening episodes. he looks pretty nimble in the preseason. of course it won't be long before he's playing through sprained ankles and a broken foot.

Re: Official 2014-2015 Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Yeah, of course Wilson can get around better than him, I had a problem with them attacking his ability to scramble and extend/make a play...i'd argue that he has no equal in the league in that regard...and the next best guy isn't Wilson.JS© wrote:I'm usually one of Big Bens biggest critics, but for him being 6'5" and "250", which probably means about 265+, he gets around better than a lumbering whale.

They're mostly written in jest -- I don't know why anyone would take them as serious football opinion.

11. Pittsburgh Steelers: 2.5
Last year's most average team needs everything to improve a little bit.
