Masloff, 71, who recently called the Grateful Dead the "Dreadful Dead" and the group's fans "Deadenders," asked Three Rivers Stadium officials about an upcoming concert by "The How."

"Not The How, The Who," said George Whitmer, the stadium authority's chairman.

"The who?" Masloff asked.

"Yes," Whitmer replied.

"Is there a Who group and a How group?" Masloff asked. "Somebody asked me the other day if The How was coming here."

"What the hell is The How?" said state Sen. Eugene Scanlon, who, like Masloff, is an authority member.

"There isn't a group called The How as far as I know," said Gerald Baron of Spectacor Management, which runs the stadium.

May the Angels lead ~
After the pens beat the north stars, Sophie made it to the airport to welcome them home. :D

My Mum who have been dead for over 10 years was involved in Pgh ward politics. She got to meet Mayor Masloff on various occasions; good , but sad memories.

I loved Sophie. Under her little Jewish grandmother guise was a very saavy politician.

And yes, she is the first to note the Pirates needed a new ballpark. Glad she lived long enough to see it happen.

Dude was still recording his voice overs for SNL from his home in AZ through the last season finale. Amazing. What a voice.

I mean, a lot of actors are recognizable later in life for their younger roles. I didn't even think about it because I had only really recognized him with a beard.
