12 - 6 - 2 dress, so you need at least 20 players. After that is up to you.

Re: Dispersal Draft Game - Discussion Thread
There really isn't much to limit. Doesn't look like any one is considering going coach-less (as that would probably instantly drop them to last place). And it's unlikely that anyone would have no substitute players at at least forward and defense. So, we're talking 22 players min., 24 players max. under any normal circumstances. It limits itself...Letang Is The Truth wrote:i think its silly to not have set limits on players v non playersmikey287 wrote:However you want LITT. If you want 24 players and one coach. If you want 20 players, 3 coaches, a mascot and to draft Chirpin' Grinder or Nizzy as a consultant, fine...if you want 25 players and no coach, fine. I'm probably going to go 23+2 coaches, personally.
I doubt voters will be swayed by anyone having T.J. Brodie as their 22nd skater/24th player. We're literally talking plus or minus one spot of very limited impact...I'm not sure what I should be limiting from happening...

Actually, I'm ready for my pick but will be away from the computer soon. If someone wants to make my pick for me, I'd be ok with sending it to them.

I'm such a big fan of him. He made a big step forward last year, watch another big step forward this year. 40, 45 points, I think will be well within his reach. He has "it" - same thing you see in Cam Fowler, he has it.MRandall25 wrote:TJ Brodie got picked?

Terrific. Feel free to participate in the discussion as the rosters become finalized. It will certainly help to have some additional, respected opinion when cases are made and teams are critiqued...Jesse wrote:I would love to analyze it. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Perhaps not the TJ Brodie we all know, bit I bet you can make a case for Brodie under L-Rob making a difference to your team'a success. :pop:mikey287 wrote:There really isn't much to limit. Terrific skill set on Brodie. Maybe I'll have to put together some sort of package on him, as no one in their right mind would have watched Calgary last year...meow wrote:Brodie is somewhere between competent and good. Amazing...?

Re: Dispersal Draft Game - Discussion Thread
I watched a good amount of western conference games last year and I honestly don't think I saw a single second of Calgary. Maybe when they played the Pens, but even then I don't remember it.

Re: Dispersal Draft Game - Discussion Thread
They aren't very good, but they're pretty interesting to watch as they get their d-men involved in the play a lot...very up-tempo, offensive-minded. Mark Giordano and T.J. Brodie were quite good for them, probably their two best players all year. If Giordano had the season he had on a winner, he gets a much stronger look at the Norris, this was the best season of his career...

Holy jumpin...if I had known Zucc was available, I would have taken him like 5 rounds ago...I could have sworn someone selected him already...terrific pick.

I remember considering him about 6 rounds ago but then forgot about him. Great pick.mikey287 wrote:Holy jumpin...if I had known Zucc was available, I would have taken him like 5 rounds ago...I could have sworn someone selected him already...terrific pick.

Re: Dispersal Draft Game - Discussion Thread
I've had him on my radar forever now. Almost didn't take him with this last pick, as there are quite a few good players out there...but it came down to need. I wanted someone who can add a bit more creativity with the puck to my lineup, as that's not something I've stressed in building my lineup. Zucc's tenacity and playoff performance swayed the hard-nose, hard-liners at Metallurg's draft table...

Zucc can play at this level of play in my opinion.

I honestly didn't know Braydon Coburn was still in the league.
