Nope. But throw in Thornton or Keith, and we could do some negotiations, haha.

Yeah, the pick by the Rangers is invalid for now. Columbus remains on the clock.pcm wrote:Did JS get skipped?

sorry, was in meetings all day. Haven't logged onto the board until now and haven't even had the chance to check twitter on a bathroom break.
I should take Shane Doan on principle, but I won't.

Ok, good, thank you, JS. If there are no objections, we'll take the Shane Doan selection as valid to New York. Toronto you are on the clock, please make a selection when you are able.

Was wondering if Radulov was going to get nabbed in the draft.

Re: Dispersal Draft Game - Discussion Thread
When I drafted Lindholm, I was first going to go with Jones. I think Jones has the potential to be very, very good; however, I think he is further behind in getting there than Lindholm, Maatta, and the other standout rookie defensemen are. Still, his potential is ridiculous, and if he has a better team around him (as I do think Nashville will be better this year), who knows? This could be his breakout season.

Add Seth Jones to the list of "people who I thought were picked a while ago, but actually weren't"

THought about Radulov, as I liked what I saw from him in the Olympics. But then checked his stats in the KHL and he's been pretty unimpressive, production-wise...

yeah... kovalchuk doesn't have stellar KHL numbers, but he's got a proven track record in the NHL. Maybe Radulov's style of play would be better suited in the NHL.

I had considered Radulov...more on him later.
Seth Jones: surprised he wasn't picked earlier. But he wasn't on my radar at all, as I don't particularly care for him - at least, relative to the rest of the hockey world.

I was torn between Alzner and Tyutin. They are basically the same exact player.

Radulov was hurt last season, but the season before he led the league in assists, second in points...pcm wrote:THought about Radulov, as I liked what I saw from him in the Olympics. But then checked his stats in the KHL and he's been pretty unimpressive, production-wise...

So does James Wisniewski. Doesn't mean he isn't a liability on defense and takes dumb penalties.meow wrote:Yet he plays 22 minutes a night. Interesting.MRandall25 wrote:Tyutin sucks.meow wrote:I was torn between Alzner and Tyutin. They are basically the same exact player.
