Oh and I went with Nugent-Hopkins to give me some much needed young skill. Probably still has another "growing" year or two to go but I think he'll be able to excel with the d-men I have and high quality wingers I'm gonna give him.

Hmm...I was pretty sure Couturier was going to be on my team...that's disappointing...

Been out of the office all day, no idea what trade happened, all I know is my centers are flying off the board so I'm going to grab an underrated one, in my opinion for the 3rd line. I like Couturier's game.

Couturier was another guy I kept looking at. I don't know how much he's capable of offensively, but he has a good 2-way game. Good at being physical & shutting down opposing players. Philly's going to be an annoying team to play against, especially if they get any defensive help.

Hanzal was my choice after Staal. Another shutdown guy, with the size to back it up. Great at faceoffs, good at power-play (front of the net stuff), physical player; uses his strength & size well.

Relieved we got Hanzal then. I thought he would be very under the radar but guess not.

Andy Greene to me is good value at this time. Minute eater, isn't flashy, does his job, fits right in with the rest of my defense. Steady eddy type.

Couturier and Hanzal were on my list for 3rd line centers, but I think that as far as offensive capabilities are concerned, I like Richards more than those two.
