Forget the name of the brewery, but it was the Fascist Pig Imperial Red, and it was quite tasty.

It would be nice to be able to choose a different style for my 2nd and 3rd beers but I'm not complaining.

Dogfish Namaste is wonderful. Just enough sweet, balanced by the spicy bite. Yum.

I liked the mischief if I recall correctly. Compares pretty favorably to Gnomegang.eddysnake wrote:Got bruery mischief, new Holland Michigan ipa, and dragons milk lined up tonight

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
Bruery mischief was really great, I could drink this every day. New Holland Michigan hatter was OK, thought it was more like an amber than ipa. Dirtwolf and sofie were delicious as always. Deschutes chain breaker was decent, don't see too many white ipas. Ended the evening with a southern tier goat boy (imperial weizenbock) which was like drinking a banana fosters desert which I completely approve of.

I second (third?) the love for The Bruery's Mischief. I like pretty much everything of theirs I've had.
I feel like I've been drinking a lot due to the World Cup, but have mostly been drinking mediocre stuff...a sad situation. However, I did get something pretty good the other night from Uinta--their 21st Anniversary Birthday Suit, a sour saison.

Well I'm guessing no.. We're staying with a couple friends in Easton this weekend, drove down to Downingtown last night. Heading to the shore today!shafnutz05 wrote:You are right in my neck of the woods eh? Victory Brewpub is indeed frigging awesome.ulf wrote:I had it Friday night, loved it. Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
I've had those and their Sour in the Rye at the Sour and Funky tasting at H1KB this spring. I want to say I also had the Oude Tart there, but I can't remember for sure (Kraftster might be able to verify or deny).eddysnake wrote:What else have you had? The only others I've had than those you guys listed would be the Rueuze (a rye gueuze, which is awesome), 5 Golden Rings, and Tart of Darkness. All their stuff is definitely top notch.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
Save on Beer on McKnight has Unibroue samplers on sale. $56 for La Fin Du Monde, Trois Pistoles, Don De Dieu, Maudite, Blanche de Chamblay, Éphémère. Pretty good buy. Warning, the Don De Dieu I opened yesterday gushed big time--probably lost at least a third of the bottle.

Great Lakes Erie Monster. Very similar to Chillwave. A little less grapefruit flavor and a little more alcohol. Very good.

A lot of resin with the monster, I can throw back Chillwave, but don't want more than one monster. It is a good beer thoughMWB wrote:Great Lakes Erie Monster. Very similar to Chillwave. A little less grapefruit flavor and a little more alcohol. Very good.

Yeah, now that I've finished it, I agree. It's a one bottle beer for me.

That is one of my favorites as well. Stone has something called ruin-ten, which is even better. Its just like ruination, but it has more dry hops and a little more flavor.

Stopped there this weekend, pretty nice setup and interesting beers. Will go again.KennyTheKangaroo wrote:Went to Roundabout dahn in lawrenceville over the weekend and picked up a growler of their IPA. It had a grapefruity taste and was pretty enjoyable. Also sampled a few other beers that were pretty tasty. This gentleman ends up in lawrenceville every once in a while and will make it a point to stop by again in the future.

I'm not sure why they're trying to sell this slanted at homebrewers, but this would be really cool if it did turn into the keurig of the beer world. Go to the brewery or store, buy a bag of your favorite beer, bring it home and put it in this thing. I don't think this would appeal to someone that's homebrewing and wants to turn to this instead of kegging. The volume just isn't close enough to what it should be for it to replace a kegging system.
