It seems one person wasn't able to get a ticket tonight. Our thoughts are with Marty's family.

Lots of power play success?MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:I'm looking at the playoff stats right now and the Devils had 3 players in the top 10 in points but All three (Kovalchuk, Parise and Zajac) were -7, -6 and -8. How is that even possible?sniper wrote:Yeah they sucked too. I don't think they made the playoffs the next year. I think the Rangers will at least do that. It's still hard to believe they made it this far with Nash, Richards, and St. Louis making what they do and for the most part being invisible.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:Devils two years ago were worse imosniper wrote:Rangers are a second round team. They are the worst team to make the finals since???? The 96 Panthers maybe? They have no top line. Their highest paid forwards are invisible. It's a shame they made it this far.
Either way, that Devils team was pretty decent IIRC -- they had a great aggressive forecheck that was pretty fun to watch. Nobody was touching the Kings during their magical run that year.

Man, that was boring.
Almost too easy for LA.
Rangers didnt even get a shot in the last 5 minutes....with an extra player.

This is the type of series where the rangers miss Callahan, they are not getting bodies to the net and he would.

I would also be pissed if I paid for over a grand for a ticket and the rangers put up a goose egg

A goal scored with 40 minutes left to play is a back breaker? Yea. Ok.

Everyone knows the goal the refs gifted the Kings to allow them to cut their deficit to 1 in game 3 with a mere 18:02 left in the game cost the NYR the whole series. Not sure what the Rangers were supposed to do, given that they only had 2 PPs in the 1OT, also.darkstar57 wrote:Conspiracy that the NHL wants LA to win?

I actually don't think NYC as a city sucks. In fact, I love it and loved the years I worked there. But when sports are involved... the fans are idiots.

The guy forgot to mention that when NBCSN's clock started it again, it jumped from 18.9 to 14.5...Lt. Re: Other NHL games 2013-2014 season
I want to shake the hands of the people who know the goal would be scored after the clock ran out so they planned to have the clock stop and restart during play to leave less than one second left.Kovy27 wrote:The guy forgot to mention that when NBCSN's clock started it again, it jumped from 18.9 to 14.5...Lt. Re: Other NHL games 2013-2014 season
If you watch NBCSN's clock it freezes (like a computer hanging on a program) when it switches the power play clock to "full strength" to disappearing into the bar again. It then re-syncs with the official game clock where it should be. It's been doing this for pretty much the entire series I thought, especially when there's less than a minute to go. And I've seen it at other points in these playoffs as well.

If this is it for CBC's HNIC. Simply: Thank you. I sincerely doubt I will ever become as emotionally invested in a television program like that again. Saturday nights will never be the same. It was such a great honor to be able to experience it for as long as I did.

Re: Other NHL games 2013-2014 season
Is the NBCSN feed having major issues, or is it just on my Xfinity online stream?
