I will never ever forget Pedro Martinez rolling Zimmer over.blackjack68 wrote:Remember him getting rag dolled to the ground during a bench clearing brawl?columbia wrote:Wow, that's too bad.

Many years ago I had a book of funny hole-in-one stories, one of which was about Zimmer. After many years of golfing he got his first hole-in-one. His friend urged him to put the ball back in his bag and put it on his mantel to honor the occasion. Zimmer disagreed and deemed it to be his lucky ball. He put it in the water off the tee on the next hole.

Rapper JayAre, from the group Cali Swag District, died on Friday, June 6 at the age of 25. According to MTV, JayAre (real name Cahron Childs) suffered from sickle cell anemia and was taken to the hospital on Thursday for unknown reasons.
While hospitalized he went into cardiac arrest and died, MTV reports. General Da Smoove, one of the members from Cali Swag District, confirmed the news on Twitter, writing, "Sickle cell took my brother away from me today."
"Rest in peace Jayare I'm gonna miss u forever... I will never get over this... but God got u... and I know You got me," he tweeted.
"With that being said I'm proud to know that with that disease he made the best of his life... I jus saw my bro literally fight for his life I told him 'I love you bro' hope'n he heard me," Smoove later added.

Re: RIP Thread
A friend of mine, aged 50, passed away last night. Me and some friends, including his sister and brother, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew, had a barbecue and he was supposed to come, too. We were making the usual jokes when he failed to show up, it was a splendid evening. Turns out he had a heart attack and now he's gone. This is the first time I lost a friend and the prevalent emotion isn't so much grief or sadness but a strange sense of wonder that the world simply goes on.
RIP Ulrich
