This seems a lot like the Crosby hate. Which we seem to believe is jealousy. So...I'm going with jealousy. I know I'm jealous of the job he has...SolidSnake wrote:Whats with the personal vendetta against McGuire?

Yea McGuire doesn't bother me one bit. I appreciate the enthusiasm he has for the game and never got the dislike for the guy. IMO I can't see him getting the job anyways so anyone that is worried about it I think are worrying for nothing. At the same time, if he does get the GM job then the guy deserves a chance. I also hope that people give it time, it takes time IMO to evaluate a GM's performance.mikey287 wrote:This seems a lot like the Crosby hate. Which we seem to believe is jealousy. Yeah, I get that he's socially awkward, but besides that, he has terrific knowledge and, as you said, enthusiasm, for the game. It's terrific.

Well said. If anything, the obsession with "PEEAIR" is far, far more disturbing than just about anything that has been said about McGuire himself.

thepittman, sticking it to the man in NPR.
I have no problem with McGuire. I think much of what he does on camera is for show. The guy has legit knowledge.
Then again, I'm not someone who gets all caught up in commentary. I tune them out for the most part.

I like Pierre. I think he gets carried away with the "whoever is currently winning is the greatest ever" thing, but I appreciate his opinions more often than not.

"Right Edzo?" (PeeError looking for confirmation after each trade/transaction made during his new role as GM)
