Alex Ovechkin is back in the team hotel. Walking on his own, no crutches, but limping. Team doctor says it's "better than expected" #Caps

Acl's don't take as long to heal for hockey as they do for football.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:Sounds like an ACL. 1.5-2 years out methinks
Hell, even in football, you aren't even looking at 12 months anymore.

It's kind of a weird thing in football. Like, AD (Adrian Peterson) came back in around 8 months or so and literally almost the best season for a running back ever and then RG3 came back a little bit sooner and obviously wasn't fully healthy at all.shmenguin wrote:Acl's don't take as long to heal for hockey as they do for football.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:Sounds like an ACL. 1.5-2 years out methinks

RG3 tore his ACL, LCL and MCL. I thought AD just tore his ACL?MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:It's kind of a weird thing in football. you can walk with a torn ACL, so it's not surprising to see him walking around.
