In all seriousness, I'm old enough to have very fond memories of cassette tapes.

Sharks kill 10 people a year (worldwide), yet governments in Australia authorize wholesale slaughter of the animals. Dogs kills 25,000 people a year, and we keep them as pets.

:face:

I am not advocating we cull dogs. Merely pointing out the absurdity of shark culls.

After years of exposure to solar rays, they are bleach white anyway.

I just had a paper get sent out for review with the journal called Science. If you know anything about scientific journals, that's a really big deal. About 90% of submissions get rejected at the editors desk. I'm very excited to hear back from the reviewers.

That's awesome! I know how big a deal that is because the study directors and biologists I work with submit all the time. Hope it gets published.

"Dear count2infinity:

Thank you for your submission. We regret to inform you that we will not be publishing your paper. Although we found your research to be impeccable and your conclusions significant, there was no beat and we couldn't dance to it."

Seriously, though, congratulations. That is indeed a really big deal.

lol... I won't get my hopes up too big just yet. It only went out for review, but I'm excited to get feedback as far as what scientists from outside my project think about it.
