A very nice choice. In that, while you lay the protein of choice on the grill and need to grab a cold, adult beverage to socialize, that is a great beverage to enjoy with the party.
Do you like any other FW brews? I really like the Double Barrel Ale, the California Pale 31, and the Velvet Merlin oatmeal stout (which I did not know was a thing until I had this beer).
Velvet merkin is the real deal if you can find it, union jack is an awesome ipa.
Correction that's double jack ipa, but I'm sure the union jack is just as great

I just called, $23.50. Owner bringing them in from philly like the cigar city (liked someone said on here). Wonder if that's a good idea saying that over the phone to anyone, is that legal?
Union Jack is a solid IPA. A step up from Double Barrel Ale in flavor and abv. I just had a six-pack of Easy Jack, which has a light alcohol %, so it was perfect for the weekend heat we just had. Still had enough hops to make it interesting for a hop head.
The Wookey Jack is a black IPA with heavy malt and high abv.
I should buy beer at Whole Foods more often. Got a 6er of Dreamweaver only because I didn't want to spend 25 minutes trying to decide what I wanted to obtain.
Sooo.... stumbled into a craft beer store in Quebec City (which is awesome, btw). The special deal? Two 750ml bottles of any Unibroue offering for 8 bucks. And remember, that is like 7.20 American right now.
Unreal. Definitely loaded up, I'll fill customs in on my great buys on Sunday

Had a bottle of goose island 312 wheat beer tonite from d's. What a freaking uneventful beer that was. This gent would rather drink something that tasted like crap than that beer.
That's because 312 (and more specifically Goose Island) has been an ABInBev beer for the last 6-7 years.
Similar to when AB put their dirty hands on Rolling Rock, Goose Island stuff no longer tastes the same. I mean it's drinkable, but if I see 312 on tap I'm gonna look further down the tap to see if there's anything else out there.

$20? Did they have more?
I'm actually kind of surprised that you would be interested in Swing Session, being our native Saison lover. I've tried it a couple times and it just doesn't really seem to have any kind of distinguishing flavor that makes it worth drinking... even at that price.
I mean I would drink it over any of the macros of course, but that doesn't say much. I'd much rather spend a few more bucks and grab a case of Yard's Saison instead and get some actual flavor...
312 might not be anything special, but goose Island still makes some good stuff. The problem is a lot of its not accessible, their Belgian products are excellent

As of yesterday, they had at least 6-7 cases left. They also had Bells Smitten Rye for $20 as well. Really good deal.
