luckily neither the show nor the books seem to care about him either. but yeah, he does seem extraneous.PensFanInDC wrote:or cares about. I still don't see a purpose for his character.shmenguin wrote:He's somewhere in the north with osha. That's all anyone knows

Rikon will be a plot device down the road if anyone finds out he is alive since he's a male heir to Winterfell.
And they are setting Cersei up to be a victim. The "rape" was step 1 and her being actually sensible even though yes, it was to get support for Tyrion's trial, I actually fealt bad for her last episode.
Bran should just take over Hodor 24/7.

Of course she is, but I can't be the only one who fealt just a bit sorry for her after Margery didn't know if she should call her sister or mother. Cersei looked sad instead of outraged.Hockeynut! wrote:Seriously? She's pretty much pure evil.DelPen wrote:And they are setting Cersei up to be a victim. Re: George R.R. Martin
I'm largely incapable of feeling any kind of sympathy for Cersei. Maybe some of that comes from having read the books and knowing what she is capable of, but she just isn't a good person. I take anything she says with the proverbial grain of salt.
Also, Rickon will only be back if he has some part to play in the end game, imo... In the show anyway. I'm kinda hoping that he's not.

Ha. I loved how Margaery so casually slipped that in there. Especially after Cersei's comment last season - “If you ever call me sister again, I’ll have you strangled in your sleep.”DelPen wrote:I can't be the only one who fealt just a bit sorry for her after Margery didn't know if she should call her sister or mother. the books devoted a large chunk of pages to cersei's inner turmoil and how her life is not her own. wasn't impressed. she can go suck a lemon.

Re: George R.R. Martin
Of course they were all from her drunken, paranoid point of view... If we were supposed to feel bad for her in any way, Martin failed.

Re: George R.R. Martin
I thought the point of a lot of her POV material was to highlight gender inequities and her being passed around as currency by her father. If it's about her being a dumb dumb I have some re-reading to do
