Kind of annoying....I've read all the books, but just started watching the series on HBO on demand with my wife, who has no prior knowledge. Are they seriously going to show Season 4 teasers before every SEASON 1 EPISODE!? It's annoying having to mute the television and close her eyes for 2 minutes before we watch it every time.

(P.S. I thought the Sam Jackson thing was a joke too.)

Kingsmoot is next season probably.

I started reading ball of beasts and I forgot how much happens at the wall for the rest of this season.

Varys knew shae was on the boat. No doubt he turned her in if she's not on the boat still.

I don't have time to read all of those tweets right now, but "the viewers send their regards" is pretty amazing.

Spoilers about Joffrey's death.
Spoiler:
It's extremely hard to notice, but when the Queen of Thorns talks to Sansa, she subtly plucks a stone off of Sansa's necklace. It's awesome that they added that detail to make it more authentic because nobody would have noticed either way.

Yeah, in the books, she plucks it from her hairnet prior to the wedding fixing it.

Glad I left it on the DVR because, despite having read the books, I forgot to look for that.

As soon as she walked over to Sansa I started checking for it.

Poor Tyrion though...

Just watched it and can't see it. Touches the top of her hair and then face and then her ponytail/braid. But I see no contact with her chest/necklace region.
We're talking during the reception, right?

I didn't see the episode yet, so I don't know when, but in the book, it was before the reception when they were going in. She fixes her hairnet in the book and that is when she takes the hidden stone to drop into the wine.

I loved Bronn's advice to Tyrion at the wedding about sending Shae, "Now go drink until it feels like you did the right thing"

One change from the books that I am fully in support of is swapping Bronn for Ilyn Payne as Jaime's sparring partner. This may have come about due to the fact that I believe the actor who played Ilyn has a terminal disease, but it is really brilliant when you think about it.

Instead of someone who can't talk, we have a great character who can give it right back to Jaime. This will be infinitely more entertaining.

Apparently some readers really have their panties in a bunch over this change, however.
