The place I got my 9 dollar bottles from probably sold them illegally anyways. I didn't think distributors in Philly were allowed to sell individual bottles - cases only.

When I was in Columbus, a bunch of the folk were saying great things about this. As a parting gift from the city, I grabbed a nice goblet from a bar with the frog etched on it. I'm now seeing that same beer (Boris) at Giant Eagles and am very tempted to make a pickup. Please let us know how you like it.
This was pretty awesome. A bit "warmer" than a lot of RIS's, but enjoyed it all the same.

Well that KBS certainly lives up to the hype. That's one of the finest beers I've ever had

Yes, it is good.
I have a couple bottles of Pere Jacques last night, which is their "abbey ale."

Got Evil Twin Yin (imperial stout) and Yang (imperial IPA). The woman at the beer shop recommended making Black and Tan. Also got some Chillwave finally. And Sinebrychoff Porter, which is supposed to be great.

Found a 6er of Black Butte and a 4 pack of Wells Banana Bread at one of the campus liquor stores.

Safe to say I'm set for the rest of the semester.

If I were forced to only drink Bell's beers for the rest of my days, I would be perfectly happy. The current sample -- two-hearted, kalamazoo, amber ale, and the golden rye ale -- is the best combination of beers I've ever had in a sampler. The Rye is probably my least favorite, and its still very good.

Finally had a KBS. It's pretty awesome, of course. But it didn't blow me away to the degree that BCBS did. I thought it was more like their imperial stout than their breakfast stout...not like that's a bad thing - just unexpected. I'd be happy drinking a million if these, but i don't think it's quite at the level where I'll go crazy hunting it down next year.

Though I'm looking forward to having another...maybe my opinion will change.

Chillwave is very good. Seems a little more grapefruity than last year though.

probably why I like it so much.

before it gets too hot I'm going to make a Kolch. Going to bottle half of my imperial stout and keg the rest next weekend. Should get pretty decent with age (10.5%).

Did any of yinz try that Game of Thrones brew? A Hills Market District had bottles for $9 I didn't get one but I am interested to see how the peppers included in the ingredients make it taste

I've tried it. I like it, but not my favorite Ommegang.

It's ever so slightly spicy. You'd never know it was brewed with ancho chilies unless you read the label. That subtle.
